About BABOLAT
Since 1875, Babolat has been known as the world leader
in tennis strings, not tennis racquets. Most of the
Grand Slam greats used Babolat strings including Jack
Kramer, Arther Ashe, Stan Smith, Bjorn Borg, Pete Sampras
and now Andy Roddick. Only in 1994 did Babolat
venture into tennis racquets. By 2005 four of the
recently ranked #1 players in the world were (and still
are) using Babolat racquets -- Carlos Moya, ranked #1 in
March 1999; Andy Roddick, ranked #1 in 2003; Kim
Clijsters, ranked #1 in September 2003; and Rafael
Nadal, ranked #1 in June 2005.
With the world's single fastest selling frame in 2003
and 2004 (the Pure Drive Team), Babolat has rocketed
into the U.S. tennis market with a superb line of very
popular tennis racquets, while continuing its domination
in tennis strings.
